Meenambakkam
Meenambakkam, considered a s the gateway to the south is located
in the southern outskirts of the Chennai city. The place is
about 15 kms from the city center and connected with popular
modes of transportation . The region is comparatively at a
higher altitude and receives maximum rainfall. The area towards
the north is irregular and hilly.
Meenambakkam lies on the Great Southern Trunk (G.S.T) Road.
